Über die Rolle
Wir suchen einen vielseitigen Werkscontroller (m/w/d) / Controller Manufacturing, der als zentrale Schnittstelle zwischen unserer neu aufgebauten Fertigungsstätte in Berlin und unserem Finanzbereich in den USA fungiert. In dieser Doppelrolle verantwortest du die Kostenrechnungsprozesse und die lokale Compliance unserer deutschen Gesellschaft (GmbH) und unterstützt gleichzeitig die globale Kostenrechnung, die Abstimmung zwischen den internationalen Tochtergesellschaften sowie das Tracking von Investitionsausgaben. Gemeinsam mit den operativen Führungskräften etablierst du skalierbare Standardkostenmethoden, sicherst die Bestandsintegrität über mehrere Standorte hinweg und sorgst für eine reibungslose finanzielle Abstimmung zwischen den EMEA- und US-Teams. Ideal passt, wer detailorientiert arbeitet, Erfahrung mit international verzweigten Konzernstrukturen mitbringt und sich in bereichsübergreifenden Umfeldern wohlfühlt.
Es handelt sich um eine Vollzeitstelle in Remote-Arbeit mit Standort in Deutschland. Wenn du in der Nähe eines Büros wohnst, erwarten wir, dass du an drei Tagen pro Woche vor Ort arbeitest.
Das bewirkst du:
- Gemeinsam mit dem Berliner Operations-Team baust du skalierbare Kostenrechnungsprozesse, Standardkostenmethoden und die Fertigungszeiterfassung für unsere lokale Produktionslinie auf.
- Du führst die monatlichen Abschlussprozesse für die Bestände der GmbH – einschließlich der Abstimmung von Roh-, Hilfs- und Betriebsstoffen, unfertigen (WIP) und fertigen Erzeugnissen – und verantwortest die körperlichen Bestandsaufnahmen sowie die Analyse von Abweichungen.
- Du stellst sicher, dass die lokale Rechnungslegung den Vorgaben des HGB entspricht, erstellst Kostenaufstellungen für deutsche Forschungsförderungen (z. B. die Forschungszulage) und verantwortest die Finanzdokumentation für lokale Zuschüsse und Fördermittel.
- Du verantwortest die Abstimmung der PCard-Abrechnungen für Laborausstattung und Flugmaterialien und prüfst die Abgrenzung von Investitions- und Betriebsausgaben (Klassifizierung als Anlagen im Bau bzw. Aufwand) für die deutsche Gesellschaft.
- Du bist die feste Vertretung für die US-Kostenrechnung – bei Abwesenheiten, in Spitzenzeiten und zur anfänglichen Abdeckung der US-Arbeitszeiten – und wirst dafür in die US-Monatsabschlussprozesse eingearbeitet.
- Du prüfst und klärst konsolidierte Umlagerungsaufträge zwischen den internationalen Tochtergesellschaften und steuerst die Warenbewegungen zwischen den Standorten für die Gesellschaften PBC und GmbH.
- Du pflegst die Kosten rund um Satellitenmaterialien, Launch und Fertigungsprozesse und verfolgst die Bewegungen zwischen Bestand, WIP und internem Anlagenmaterial.
- Du unterstützt bei der Aktivierung von Personalkosten in den Bereichen interne Softwareentwicklung, Satellitenbau und Inbetriebnahme.
- Du führst Analysen zu Einkaufspreisabweichungen (PPV), Produktionsabweichungen, Ausschuss sowie Überbeständen und Obsoleszenz (E&O) durch und erstellst Bilanzkontenabstimmungen, Buchungssätze sowie Abgrenzungen für Wareneingänge und Fertigungsvorauszahlungen für die US- und EMEA-Aktivitäten.
- Du unterstützt interne und externe Prüfungen nach US-GAAP, HGB und im Rahmen der SOX-Kontrollen.
Das bringst du mit:
- Mindestens 4 Jahre einschlägige Erfahrung in der Kostenrechnung in einem Fertigungs- oder High-Tech-Umfeld.
- Abgeschlossenes Studium in Rechnungswesen, Finanzen oder Betriebswirtschaft – oder eine einschlägige Ausbildung, z. B. als Industriekaufmann/-frau mit Schwerpunkt Rechnungswesen/Controlling.
- Erfahrung mit Bestandskontrollen und international verzweigten Konzernstrukturen.
- Sicherer Umgang mit modernen ERP-Systemen und fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse in Excel oder Google Sheets.
- Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (Englisch ist unsere Unternehmenssprache).
Damit hebst du dich ab:
- Fundierte Kenntnisse sowohl in US-GAAP als auch im HGB.
- Praktische Erfahrung mit dem ERP-System NetSuite.

Die Planet Labs Germany GmbH ist auf Grundlage einer vom Bureau of Industry and Security erteilten Exportlizenz berechtigt, bei Planet US-exportkontrollierte Informationen zu empfangen. Diese Position erfordert Zugang zu US- und deutschen/EU-exportkontrollierten Informationen. Eine Anstellung (bzw. die Beauftragung als Auftragnehmer) setzt daher voraus, dass die Bewerberin oder der Bewerber auf alle einschlägigen exportkontrollierten Informationen zugreifen kann, ohne dass hierfür zusätzliche Exportgenehmigungen deutscher, europäischer oder US-amerikanischer Behörden erforderlich sind.

Die erwartete Bandbreite des Bruttoeinstiegsgehalts für diese Position ist unten aufgeführt. Die individuelle Einordnung innerhalb dieser Bandbreite erfolgt objektiv anhand geschlechtsneutraler Kriterien wie deinen Fähigkeiten, Qualifikationen und deiner Berufserfahrung. Für diese Position können zusätzlich ein Ermessensbonus, eine Provision und/oder eine Beteiligung am Unternehmen infrage kommen.
