Sobre esta vaga de Technical Product Marketing Manager na Serval

Serval · Presencial · San Francisco

Who We Are

Serval is an AI-native automation platform transforming how enterprises operate. We build intelligent agents that understand real-world workflows and execute them end-to-end — replacing manual processes and rigid legacy systems with adaptive, learning software. Founded in early 2024, Serval is already trusted by companies like Fox, Notion, Perplexity, Vercel, and Brex to automate high-volume, high-friction operational work across their organizations.

At the core of Serval is an agentic AI platform that turns natural language into production-grade workflows. Our agents don’t just respond to requests — they reason, take action across systems, and continuously improve with usage. What began with operational use cases has quickly evolved into a horizontal AI automation layer used across IT, HR, Finance, Security, Legal, and Engineering.

Our mission is to eliminate repetitive, manual work across the enterprise and give teams leverage through intelligent automation. Long term, we’re building the universal AI operations layer — a system of agents that sits across business functions and runs the workflows that keep modern companies moving.

We’re backed by leading investors including Sequoia Capital, Redpoint Ventures, Meritech, First Round, General Catalyst, Elad Gil, and others.

About the role

Serval is hiring a Technical Product Marketing Manager to build and scale the enablement engine for our fastest-growing organization. Unlike traditional enablement roles that focus on slide libraries and one-off trainings, this role sits directly on the critical path of customer impact: helping Deployment Strategists (DS) ramp faster, run stronger deployments, and confidently translate Serval's capabilities into outcomes inside complex enterprise environments.

Our customers experience Serval primarily through the work of our Deployment Strategists. A core responsibility of this role is accelerating a DS's jump from onboarded to fully productive. With plans to grow to 40 to 60 DS by the end of the year, it is critical that we compress ramp time and accelerate impact as much as possible. You'll build a scalable onboarding curriculum, plus high-leverage assets [playbooks, deployment guides, cheatsheets] that shorten time to first successful deployment as the org scales.

This role also extends beyond our own team. You'll own formalizing DS training and extending it to system integrators and future partners, and you'll build a training and certification mechanism for our customers. As customers begin hiring dedicated Serval Engineers, we need world-class enablement and certifications that ensure every customer account is set up to succeed.

And because we build agentic AI, you'll be expected to use it on yourself. We don't want a person who manually rebuilds the same training every time we ship a feature: we want someone who builds the system that produces it. Over time, this role evolves from authoring enablement by hand to designing AI agents that generate, update, and personalize it, so the curriculum stays current at the speed we ship.

Who you are

The ideal candidate is a technical enablement builder with high product aptitude, strong public speaking skills, and a track record of ramping technical, customer-facing teams in B2B technology companies. You'll be a great fit if:

  • You're excited to get in the weeds with engineers and understand the technology as deeply as a Deployment Strategist would

  • You're energized by the idea of getting up on stage and training a room of 50 Deployment Strategists, SIs, or customer engineers

  • You learn at breakneck speed, because we ship new features at a high velocity

  • You're the kind of person who, after building the same training twice, immediately asks "how do I get an agent to do this for me?"

  • You're a problem solver at heart who will wake up every day thinking "How do I make our Deployment Strategists productive faster, and our customers successful sooner?"

What you'll do

  • Build and scale the DS enablement program, including training, deployment certification, and ongoing technical education

  • Translate complex product capabilities into clear deployment playbooks and best practices that DS can quickly internalize and apply in the field, then turn your strongest assets into reusable templates and repeatable systems rather than one-off deliverables

  • Own the formalization of DS training and extend it to SIs and future partners so they can deploy Serval to our standard

  • Build and own a structured training and certification program for customers, preparing them to staff and support dedicated Serval Engineers

  • Partner closely with Engineering and DS leadership to ensure strategists are prepared to deploy and support new capabilities effectively, and establish a workflow that converts every release and product update into draft enablement within days, not weeks

  • Identify friction points in the deployment lifecycle and build assets that help DS and customers move faster to value

  • Sit in on pilot and deployment calls regularly to understand what's working and what's not, then design agentic AI workflows that mine those calls at scale: auto-surfacing recurring blockers, common questions, and the patterns behind successful deployments so enablement updates itself based on what's actually happening in the field

  • Prototype, deploy, and own an AI-powered enablement engine: agents that draft playbooks, certification modules, and training content from product specs, deployment-call insights, and your own frameworks, with you setting the standard, reviewing the output, and keeping quality high

  • Become the internal model for how a modern enablement function operates: measurably more output per person, faster time-to-ramp, and a training and certification library that stays current automatically as Serval ships, since we should be the best example of the leverage our own product promises

What you'll need

  • 4+ years of technical enablement or customer-facing deployment experience at a high-growth B2B technology company. Experience building technical certification programs is a strong plus.

    • This role will be leveled according to the number of years of experience

  • Technical experience in one of the following forms: a CS or engineering undergraduate degree, or experience as a deployment engineer or deployment strategist

  • Strong oral and written communication for various audiences, including technical content

  • Comfort using AI tools in your daily workflow and genuine excitement about building agentic systems to scale your own output (direct experience is a plus, aptitude and appetite are required)

  • Bachelor's required

What We Offer

  • Impact: Be a key player in shaping the success of our product and company.

  • Growth: Build a fundamentally new AI product offering with the support of our experienced team and investors. Grow rapidly with the company.

  • Culture: Join a culture that values innovation, ownership, accountability, and fun.
