Sobre esta vaga de Technical Consultant na Recordpoint
The opportunity
This is the role where RecordPoint’s promise becomes real for customers. As a Technical Consultant on our Onboarding & Delivery team, you’re the person who connects a new customer’s data estate to our platform and gets them to their first genuine result — fast. You’ll own the hands-on technical work that turns a signed contract into a customer who can finally see, understand, and govern their data.
It’s a role for people who take pride in technical delivery done well: methodical, detail-driven, and energised by getting a complex integration to simply work. You’ll have proven playbooks to work from and an experienced team around you — and every onboarding you deliver directly shapes whether a customer stays, grows, and succeeds.
What you’ll do
- Lead customer onboardings from kickoff through to first value — planning the work, confirming what needs to be connected, and keeping delivery on track with the customer and onboarding lead.
- Deploy and configure the connectors that link customer data sources to RecordPoint, using our proven deployment playbooks.
- Manage data source integrations, authentication, and metadata configuration — and produce clear, reusable runbooks for everything you deploy.
- Troubleshoot integration issues as they arise, and escalate genuine architectural exceptions to our Solutions & Architecture specialists.
- Prepare the evidence that confirms each customer is ready to go live and has reached their first-value milestone — accurate, complete, and to standard.
- Once customers are live, partner with them on the configuration unique to their organisation — data migrations, non-standard connectors, and the technical advice that helps them get the most from the platform, whether they build it themselves, work through a partner, or engage us directly.
What you’ll bring
Essential
- 5+ years in SaaS implementation, technical onboarding, or information management delivery.
- Hands-on experience deploying connectors, configuring metadata, or working with integration tooling.
- A solid grounding in cloud solution design and deployment (PaaS and SaaS), and comfort with the technologies around it — databases, networking, and authentication.
- Experience migrating customers from on-premise systems to modern cloud platforms.
- A structured, quality-first approach — you work well within delivery frameworks and your artifacts are accurate and complete.
- Clear written and verbal communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to have (a genuine bonus, not a barrier — apply if you have some of these)
- Experience in pre-sales engineering or solutions architecture for technology or software sales.
- Hands-on with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Exchange, or comparable enterprise content platforms.
- Familiarity with records management, data governance, or information classification.
- Experience delivering to regulated-market customers — financial services, government, or critical infrastructure.
- Understanding of security principles and controls in cloud environments.
- Comfort using AI productivity tools to speed up documentation, configuration, and delivery reporting.
- Exposure to any of: OpenShift, AKS, Podman, Docker, Power BI, C#, Python, PowerShell, or Web/Swagger APIs.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
Why you’ll want this role
- Real impact. Your work is the difference between a customer who struggles and one who succeeds. In a business our size, that’s visible and it’s valued.
- Flexibility. Hybrid working across our Sydney and Melbourne offices, built around outcomes rather than hours at a desk.
- Growth. A clear technical delivery craft to master, an experienced team to learn from, and a company investing in how it scales delivery.
- Purpose. You’ll help the organisations that matter most — the ones holding society’s most sensitive information — manage it responsibly.
