About the Role
The System O&M Manager shall lead the planning, development, coordination, and integration of maintenance and asset management requirements.
The System O&M Manager shall provide overall technical leadership for the establishment and progressive development of the maintenance requirements, plans, and arrangements necessary for operational readiness, trial operations, initial commercial operations, and MMSP interoperation.
Responsibilities
Propose and progressively develop the railway system maintenance requirements necessary for operational readiness, trial operations, and commercial operations by the MMSP and NSCR O&M Concessionaires, including the identification of maintenance and asset management strategies and plans and the proposal of minimum
resources and competencies required for maintenance;Lead the coordinated development of the high-level MMSP and NSCR Maintenance Plans, as well as supplemental guidelines, as supported by the relevant system, rolling stock, and infrastructure O&M experts, to be utilized by the MMSP and NSCR O&M Concessionaires as baseline references in the development of their respective O&M plans;
Support the O&M Rule Expert 2 (O&M Integration Manager) with the preparation of the MMSP Interoperation Plan;
Support the O&M Program Managers and Railway Operation Manager with coordination efforts for operational readiness and trial operations, particularly with respect to the preparation of maintenance requirements prior to commercial operations by the MMSP and NSCR O&M Concessionaires;
Support the GC design experts with assessing requirement changes or value engineering proposals with respect to their implications on maintainability as necessary;
Facilitate knowledge transfer among the relevant system, rolling stock, and infrastructure O&M experts and engineers; and
Perform other necessary duties to ensure the successful delivery of the consulting services
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Railway Engineering, Civil Engineering, Asset Management, or a related discipline.
Master's degree in engineering, Transportation, Asset Management, or Business Administration is desirable.
