Functional Objectives

• Provide expert-level support and continuous improvement for SAP FI/CO solutions across SAP S/4HANA and ECC platforms.
• Ensure the stability, compliance, and performance of SAP modules supporting Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO)
• Deliver Level 3 (L3) support and manage the end-to-end delivery of enhancements, from requirement gathering through design, testing, and deployment.
• Contribute to SAP architecture governance, technical documentation standards, and IT governance processes to ensure consistency and audit readiness.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in SAP FI/CO, supporting projects, change initiatives, and digital transformation efforts.
• Collaborate closely with Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) to align IT solutions with business priorities and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.

Main Tasks

SAP Finance Support & Operations

• Assist with L3 support for SAP FI/CO (AP, AR, GL, TR, AA, CO-OM, CO-PC, CO-ML and CO-PA) including deep-dive troubleshooting, configuration, and solution implementation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations (e.g., IFRS, SOX).
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.

Enhancement Delivery

• Support SAP Finance enhancement activities by assisting with requirement gathering, testing, documentation, and deployment preparation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, BRMs, and developers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of enhancements.
• Learn and apply SAP best practices and established solution design standards

Project & Change Execution

• Participate in SAP Finance-related projects, including S/4HANA migrations, system upgrades, and process redesigns.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical SAP solutions.
• Support testing, training, and deployment activities.

Collaboration & Business Engagement

• Work closely with Finance, Controlling, and Audit teams to understand business needs and deliver SAP solutions that support financial transparency and operational efficiency.
• Partner with BRMs to ensure alignment between IT services and business expectations, and to support strategic planning and prioritization.

Documentation & Governance

• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation for SAP Finance configurations, interfaces, and processes.
• Contribute to SAP architecture governance by ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards and integration strategies.
• Support audit and compliance activities through proper documentation and traceability.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Identify opportunities for automation, analytics, and process optimization in financial operations.
• Stay current with SAP innovations (e.g., Central Finance, Group Reporting, Fiori apps) and recommend relevant improvements.

Education and Professional Knowledge

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.

Professional Knowledge & Experience:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO and related finance modules in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA, including new functionalities such as Universal Journal and Central Finance.
• Proven experience in L3 support and enhancement delivery, including root cause analysis, functional design, and testing.
• Experience with technical documentation, SAP governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with integration points between Finance and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 5–10% as required.
