We are looking for an experienced Senior Development Engineer to join our engineering team and play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering highly scalable, modern web applications. This role is ideal for an accomplished frontend engineer who has extensive experience building complex user interfaces and enjoys solving challenging technical problems while mentoring engineering teams.

As a Senior Development Engineer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, and architects to build intuitive, high-performance, and responsive web applications. You will be responsible for driving frontend architecture, establishing engineering best practices, improving application performance, and ensuring exceptional user experiences across products.

The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies, along with a strong understanding of software engineering principles, scalable system design, and Agile development methodologies. Experience working with Java or Node.js-based backend services is considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, responsive, and reusable web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Architect frontend solutions that deliver exceptional user experience, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Build reusable UI components, shared libraries, and design system implementations.
• Optimize application performance, page load times, and frontend scalability.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making across multiple projects.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices through constructive feedback.
• Write clean, modular, testable, and well-documented code following industry standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust solutions with long-term maintainability.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, testing strategies, CI/CD practices, and frontend tooling.
• Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10–20 years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive experience building enterprise-grade web applications.
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Hands-on experience developing component-driven architectures and reusable frontend libraries.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, browser rendering, and web performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
