Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Database Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable database solutions for a cloud-based IWMS platform supporting 100+ enterprise clients. This role focuses on database development, performance optimization, and ensuring reliable, high-performing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain efficient and scalable database structures, schemas, and objects (tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, triggers).
• Develop and enhance application features using SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and JavaScript.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and execution plan improvements.
• Ensure data integrity, performance, and adherence to coding and design standards.
• Manage code using Git, including code reviews, branching, and version control best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, deploy enhancements, and support production systems.
• Participate in Agile processes such as sprint planning, reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Document technical designs, processes, and standards.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices within the team.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills

• 6-9 years of strong experience in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL) and database development
• Knowledge of Java and JavaScript
• Experience in database performance tuning
• Familiarity with Git and Agile methodologies
• Understanding of data modeling and database design

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-based or enterprise applications
• Exposure to CI/CD or DevOps practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
