Social Media Manager – B2B, Finance & Community Growth | Remote

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Social Media Manager to own and grow a portfolio of 10 social media accounts across B2B, finance, and investor-focused audiences.

This is not a scheduling or coordination-only role. We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands social media culture, uses these platforms daily, and knows that what works on LinkedIn is very different from what performs on TikTok, Reddit, or StockTwits.

You’ll begin with a full account audit and then take ownership of content strategy, publishing, short-form video, community engagement, organic growth, and post promotion.

What You’ll Own

Social Media Strategy & Audits

• Audit existing accounts and identify immediate growth opportunities
• Build platform-specific strategies based on audience behavior and business goals
• Create and manage structured content calendars
• Identify content gaps, trends, and engagement opportunities
• Continuously refine strategy based on performance

Multi-Platform Account Management

Manage content and engagement across:

• LinkedIn
• X (Twitter)
• Reddit
• StockTwits
• TikTok
• YouTube
• Instagram
• Facebook
• Bluesky
• Pinterest

Adapt tone, format, messaging, and creative for each platform rather than simply cross-posting the same content.

Content & Short-Form Video

• Create and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Develop platform-native posts designed for reach and engagement
• Create visual assets using Canva or similar tools
• Repurpose existing content intelligently across channels
• Stay ahead of emerging formats, trends, and conversations

Community & Organic Growth

• Turn low-engagement accounts into active, engaged communities
• Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, mentions, and conversations
• Engage authentically on Reddit, StockTwits, LinkedIn, X, and other communities
• Build credibility with B2B, finance, and investor audiences
• Identify relevant conversations and opportunities for brand participation

Post Promotion & Performance

• Boost high-performing posts through native platform tools
• Manage small promotional budgets across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other channels
• Track reach, engagement, audience growth, and content performance
• Identify winning content and continuously optimize execution

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional social media management experience
• Proven experience managing multiple social accounts simultaneously
• Experience in B2B, SaaS, finance, investing, or related audiences
• Demonstrated success growing social engagement and online communities
• Strong short-form video creation and editing skills
• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
• Experience conducting social media audits and developing content strategies
• Experience boosting/promoting posts using native platform tools
• Strong understanding of platform-specific algorithms, audiences, and content formats
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Highly organized and able to work independently during U.S. business hours

Nice to Have

• Experience with StockTwits, Bluesky, or Pinterest
• Investor-focused or financial marketing experience
• Meta Ads Manager or LinkedIn Campaign Manager experience
• Google Ads familiarity
• HubSpot or Asana experience
