Who We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter with a strong background in scaling companies and building engineering and product teams.

You are highly motivated, productive, and data-driven, thriving in fast-paced environments where multiple high-priority roles need to be filled quickly. While your core focus is technical hiring, you bring versatility and adaptability to take on non-technical roles as business needs evolve. Above all, you're a team player who brings good energy to the group. For us, success looks like a great candidate and client experience, every time.

What You’ll Do

• Manage recruitment within HighlightTA's talent function or work as a fully embedded talent partner within a client's team, partnering with scaling companies to expand their technical and product teams and stepping into other departments such as sales, marketing, ops, or leadership when the workload calls for it.

• Build strong relationships with a variety of hiring managers, showing up as a true consultative partner who understands team goals and drives searches forward together.

• Move comfortably between different tools and systems depending on the client. Day to day, that mostly means living in Google Workspace, Slack, and Ashby.

• Take client and candidate experience seriously, delivering an excellent, transparent, and engaging process for everyone involved.

• Source passive candidates through advanced techniques, technical networks, and tools like LinkedIn Recruiter.

• Deliver insights on hiring trends, compensation, and market dynamics.

• Balance multiple urgent searches simultaneously with high productivity.

• Guide laid-off employees through outplacement support, helping them navigate their next move.
  

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience for a SaaS-based business.

• 2+ years specializing in technical roles (e.g., Software Engineers, Data Scientists, DevOps, Product Managers).

• Internal (in-house) recruiting experience is a must. A mix of in-house and agency experience is a bonus.

• A flexible, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset. We're a small, fast-moving team, so priorities shift and you're happy to jump in wherever's needed.

• Highly organized and self-directed. You know how to run your own process and have the judgment to know when to ask for help.

• A consultative, communicative approach. You're comfortable and confident engaging directly with clients and hiring managers, building real partnerships and not just order-taking relationships.

• Confident working across tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Ashby, and LinkedIn Recruiter.

• Comfortable using AI tools as part of your regular workflow. You can name the tools you rely on and speak to real use cases.

• Data-driven mindset, using metrics and insights to refine recruitment strategies.

• Dedication to diversity, inclusion, and a seamless candidate experience.

• Bonus points for experience with outplacement or career transition support.
