As a Senior Professional Services Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic, bright, and customer-facing team focused on delivering and implementing custom development and feature development for NiCE Actimize Financial Crime Prevention solutions for leading financial institutions. The role provides exposure to critical financial compliance regulations across AML, payment fraud, and trading compliance domains.
You will be responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing additional features and custom rules for NiCE Actimize product offerings. As part of your responsibilities, you will interact with customers to understand business requirements and work closely with SE Leads and fellow implementers to design and implement intelligent, practical, and innovative solutions.
How will you make an impact?
- Determine technical feasibility by evaluating requirements, analysis, and proposed solutions.
- Prepare and install solutions by defining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming requirements.
- Enhance existing solutions to match client requirements by configuring and customizing software using Actimize software, SQL, and related technologies.
- Develop custom rules, features, and solution-level configurations aligned with client-specific business requirements.
- Test and approve software solutions, configurations, and customizations to ensure quality and reliability.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize development and service issues to provide clear technical inputs and recommendations.
- Use software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate through peer code reviews by providing constructive comments, suggestions, and improvements.
- Perform technical root cause analysis and define corrective actions for identified problems.
- Apply urgency, ownership, and focus on the right priorities to deliver technical solutions in a timely manner.
- Document and demonstrate solutions through clear documentation, diagrams, clean code, and meaningful comments.
Have you got what it takes?
- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in software development, implementation, or professional services delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 11+ and J2EE.
- Strong hands-on experience with web technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, Web Services/APIs, XML, and XSL.
- Experience with databases such as MS SQL, Oracle, and/or PostgreSQL; Cassandra knowledge is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience implementing and tailoring NiCE Actimize solutions in client environments.
- Experience with solution-level configuration, custom rule development, feature development, and alignment with client-specific requirements.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting environment provisioning, compute resource administration, deployment, and operational management of application infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, written English, and spoken English skills.
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Tableau knowledge or experience with reporting and visualization tools.
- Additional exposure to financial crime, AML, payment fraud, or trading compliance domains.
- Experience working in customer-facing implementation or consulting roles.
