Job Summary

The Senior Operations Specialist is responsible for monitoring operational performance, analyzing large volumes of operational data, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), and driving continuous improvement across business operations. The ideal candidate has a strong data-driven mindset, enjoys working with reports and dashboards, and proactively identifies opportunities to automate repetitive processes, optimize workflows, and improve operational efficiency through data and technology.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor daily operational performance and ensure the smooth execution of business operations.

* Analyze operational data, KPIs, and performance metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

* Build, maintain, and automate operational reports, dashboards, and recurring performance reports.

* Develop actionable insights and present recommendations to support data-driven decision-making.

* Design and implement workflow automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work.

* Monitor compliance with company policies, operational standards, and SOPs while identifying areas for process optimization.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational processes and enhance service delivery.

* Investigate operational issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

* Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across operational systems and reports.

* Support the implementation of new operational initiatives, systems, automation tools, and process improvements.

* Assist in onboarding and training team members on operational processes, reporting standards, and best practices.

* Maintain comprehensive operational documentation, reports, and process updates.

* Perform additional operational duties as assigned to support business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in Operations, Business Operations, Process Improvement, or a similar analytical role.

• Previous experience in Education Operations, EdTech, or Tech Operations is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical thinking with a data-driven mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas) and Google Sheets.

• Strong experience with Google Apps Script and workflow automation.

• Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Make, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, n8n, or similar tools is a strong advantage.

• Experience working with automation, process optimization, and operational workflows.

• Experience working with CRM systems and operational management platforms.

• Experience with Big Data, large datasets, or data-driven operational environments is a strong advantage.

• Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar Business Intelligence tools is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with SQL or database querying is a plus.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
