Jobs Companies Make Senior GEO Manager - LLM Search Optimization

Sobre esta vaga de Senior GEO Manager - LLM Search Optimization na Make

Make · Presencial · Madrid, Spain

Make is the platform to manage all your automations and AI agents in one visual landscape – for teams driving business impact without relying on developers. Part of Celonis, a global leader in process intelligence recognized on the Forbes Cloud 100 for seven consecutive years, we're headquartered in Prague, Czechia, with hubs in Madrid, Munich, Raleigh, and Pristina, and teams across the UK, France, India, and the Netherlands, among other locations.

You’ll build the strategy, systems, monitoring, and content mechanics yourself, and prove out what generative visibility is worth to a workflow-automation and AI-agent platform. Traditional organic SEO stays part of the job, but it's the floor, not the ceiling.

What you'll own

  • GEO / AEO strategy build and run Make's approach to being cited (correctly, favorably, and often) across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Claude.
  • Citation monitoring stand up prompt-level tracking of where Make shows up, where it doesn't, and where competitors are winning the citation instead.
  • Authority & source repair identify and close the gaps in the sources LLMs actually draw from (this includes unglamorous work like earning back reinstated, high-trust reference sources).
  • Entity-based content architecture work with the content team to restructure key topics into the clusters and schema that both traditional crawlers and LLM retrieval reward.
  • Technical SEO own Core Web Vitals, indexation, structured data, and site health well enough that it's never the reason organic underperforms.
  • Automated tooling build lightweight automation (scripts, LLM APIs) to scale audits, competitive tracking, and reporting monthly.
  • Insight to action translate visibility data into a short list of things the business should actually do differently, not a dashboard nobody reads.

What you bring

  • 5+ years in SEO, with the last 1–2 spent seriously engaging with how generative/AI search actually works: not just aware of GEO, but already testing it.
  • Comfortable being technical: schema/structured data, crawl data, and enough Python or scripting to build your own monitoring instead of waiting on engineering.
  • A bias for evidence over opinion. You'd rather run a structured experiment on citation visibility than debate it in a meeting.
  • Genuine comfort with ambiguity. GEO best practice is still being written; you should enjoy that, not be waiting for a playbook.
  • A business lens: you think in signups, pipeline, and share of voice - not just rankings and impressions.
  • Fluent English.

Your toolkit

You don't need to have used every tool below but you should be fluent enough in this category of tooling to be productive fast.

  • GEO / AI visibility Profound, peec.ai, or equivalent LLM-citation tracking (or the instinct to build your own when off-the-shelf isn't enough).
  • Core SEO SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console.
  • Analytics & data GA4, BigQuery, and enough SQL to pull your own answers instead of waiting on a data team.
  • Implementation structured data / schema.org, and comfort working directly with engineering on crawl, rendering, and site architecture issues.
  • Automation & AI Python (or similar scripting) plus LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI) to build monitoring and reporting that runs itself.

Nice to have

  • Background in B2B SaaS or PLG, ideally at a company selling into a technical or ops audience.
  • Hands-on use of LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI) to build internal tooling, not just as an end user.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation, iPaaS, or AI agent tooling. You don't need to be a Make power user on day one, but you should get why it matters.

Why this is a good fit

  • You want to be the person who defines what GEO means for a company, not the fifth hire executing someone else's playbook.
  • You'd rather be judged on signups and pipeline influence than on ranking positions.
  • You want to build your own tools rather than file a ticket and wait.
  • You're a strong believer that GEO is worth real investment.
  • You prefer building the strategy and process yourself.
