Why Box needs you:

Box is looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer to support our Salesforce-based sales and customer success capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of changes and solutions released for these critical systems. You will develop and execute comprehensive test plans, oversee UAT test case execution, and document defects using approved standards and tools. Your expertise in creating and maintaining test automation scripts will contribute to the growth of Box's automation library. Additionally, you will identify operational bottlenecks within Salesforce-based sales and customer success processes, streamline operations, and enhance efficiency. Creating training materials and operating manuals specific to these systems will also be part of your responsibilities. With strong estimation skills, you will ensure thorough testing coverage by estimating effort required for enhancements and projects related to Salesforce-based sales and customer success. Joining Box as a QA Engineer means being part of a dynamic IT organization focused on excellence in execution and service delivery. Your contributions will directly impact Box's ability to deliver high-quality products while maintaining seamless operations.

 What you'll do:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for Salesforce-based sales and customer success systems to ensure high quality of changes and solutions released.

• Oversee the review and execution of UAT test cases for Salesforce-based sales and customer success systems while accurately documenting defects using approved standards, processes, and tools.

• Create and maintain test automation and performance scripts with the goal of growing our automation library, regression suite and automating daily activities

• Identify operational bottlenecks and areas of improvement within Salesforce-based sales and customer success processes, working towards streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency.

• Create and maintain training materials and operating manuals that support QA standards specific to Salesforce and NPI systems.

• Estimate the level of effort required for testing enhancements and projects related to Salesforce-bassed sales and customer success, ensuring thorough testing coverage.

• Provide regular reports on the quality of products, software development lifecycle processes, as well as recommendations to delivery teams regarding the risk associated with promoting solutions for production use in relation to Salesforce-based sales and customer success systems.

Who you are:

• Educational background with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• 2+ years of experience preferably in Salesforce testing or any other CRM system, functional testing, and automation testing

• Proficiency in writing test cases and test plans for functional, automation, and regression testing

• Experience with tools such as Jira, X-ray (for writing test cases), Salesforce, Cursor/Claude/OpenAI (any AI tool used to automate testing activities)

• Demonstrated expertise in quality defect tracking, auditing, and testing processes

• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form

• Ability to work in matrixed team environment while maintaining organization and accurate tracking of deliverables

Percentage of Time Spent:

• 25% partnering with stakeholders to understand use cases and developing quality/acceptance criteria for new opportunities/enhancements/issues/bugs

• 50% leveraging your technical knowledge to ensure quality is woven through the delivery of all our solutions

• 15% Creatively exploring opportunities, individually and/or with others, to proactively “10x” how our systems work and how we can optimize as a team

• 10% Continuously learning through training, self study, conferences, and mentorship programs
