The Opportunity

As a San Francisco - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies within our Assurance practice. You will support teams by participating in projects, conducting research, and performing basic tasks that contribute to the success of the team. This role offers a unique opportunity to observe and learn from experienced professionals, enhancing your understanding of digital assurance and audit processes.

As an Intern, you will focus on developing your skills and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will support teams with basic tasks, observe professional work environments, and participate in projects. This role emphasizes learning and gaining exposure, allowing you to contribute to project goals while building your personal brand. You will be encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients.

In this role, you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting different challenges and scope. Every experience is an opportunity to learn and grow, paving the way for future opportunities within the firm.

Responsibilities

- Supporting audit teams by participating in the execution of digital assurance tasks
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into financial reporting and compliance
- Assisting in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance transparency and integrity in client engagements
- Engaging in basic research and data analysis to support audit processes and decision-making
- Participating in the development and testing of artificial intelligence platforms to improve audit efficiency
- Contributing to the evaluation of internal controls and compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Collaborating with team members to gather and analyze information for audit reports
- Applying a learning mindset to develop skills in cloud engineering and data quality assurance
- Actively listening and accepting feedback to improve performance and contribute to team success
- Demonstrating enthusiasm and initiative in supporting client-focused assurance services

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
