Quality Testing Associate Analyst

Role Summary

We are seeking a Quality Testing Associate Analyst with 0–2 years of experience, including fresh graduates, to support SAP Quality & Test Management activities across enterprise applications.

The candidate will work closely with senior QA/Test Management, SAP functional teams, business users, and technical teams to support test case preparation, manual test execution, defect management, test tracking, and reporting.

This role is ideal for a candidate who has a strong interest in software testing, SAP applications, and quality assurance, with good analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the QA/Test Management team in planning and executing testing activities across SAP and integrated applications.
• Perform manual testing based on business requirements, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Prepare, review, and maintain test cases and test execution results.
• Execute functional and regression test cases and document test evidence.
• Support defect identification, logging, tracking, and closure.
• Create and maintain defects in Jira, including appropriate descriptions, screenshots/evidence, severity, and priority.
• Support defect triage and follow up with functional/technical teams for defect resolution.
• Perform retesting and regression testing after defects are fixed.
• Use qTest for test case management, test execution tracking, and test reporting.
• Maintain accurate test execution and defect status in test management tools.
• Prepare test status reports and basic testing metrics using Excel.
• Support requirements-to-test-case traceability and ensure testing documentation is up to date.
• Coordinate with SAP functional teams and business users during testing and UAT activities.
• Support testing activities across different SAP modules and develop a basic understanding of SAP business processes.
• Follow defined QA processes, testing standards, and project/release governance procedures.
• Escalate testing issues, blockers, and risks to senior team members in a timely manner.

• Microsoft Excel – test tracking, reporting, data analysis, and basic formulas
• Basic understanding of SAP Testing / Quality & Test Management
• Basic understanding/overview of SAP modules like MM, SD, OTC, MTD

The candidate is not expected to have deep functional expertise in SAP modules but should be willing to learn SAP business processes and understand how testing is performed across SAP applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 0–2 years of experience in Software Testing, QA, SAP Testing, or a related area.
• Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Basic knowledge of manual testing concepts and defect lifecycle.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to document test results and defects clearly.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to learn SAP applications, testing tools, and enterprise testing processes.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to qTest, Jira, or any test management/defect management tool through academics, internships, projects, or previous employment.
• Basic knowledge of SAP or ERP systems.
• Any software testing certification such as ISTQB Foundation is an advantage.
• Internship or academic project experience in Software QA/Testing is an advantage.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus.
