LMW, on behalf of a leading multinational IT company, is looking for a QA / Manual Tester to join the team and contribute to the successful delivery and quality of business applications and system integrations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing functional and technical tests across both the front-end/UI of applications and the services and integrations developed on the client's platform for connection with third-party systems.
This is a hands-on role requiring a combination of functional analysis understanding and technical knowledge, with close collaboration with Functional Analysts and Developers throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manual test cases and test scenarios for web-based applications and system integrations.
- Test application functionality at the front-end/UI level, ensuring requirements and expected business processes are correctly implemented.
- Test services, APIs, and integrations between the client's platform and third-party systems.
- Prepare and maintain test scenarios and test cases based on functional requirements, user stories, and use cases.
- Record and document test execution results, including passed and failed test cases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, providing clear and accurate information to the development team.
- Re-run test cases and perform retesting and regression testing following bug fixes or system changes.
- Work closely with Functional Analysts to ensure adequate test coverage and alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with Developers and implementation teams to investigate issues, clarify expected behavior, and support defect resolution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, documentation, and quality standards.
- Support the delivery of high-quality solutions within agreed timelines.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in manual software/application testing.
- Experience in the banking sector, lending automation systems, and/or Business Process Management (BPM) systems will be considered a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of the functional analysis and software development lifecycle.
- Experience creating and documenting test scenarios and test cases based on functional requirements, ser stories and se cases
- Basic technical understanding of web applications, services, APIs, and system integrations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to identifying and documenting defects.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business/functional and technical teams.
- University degree or equivalent qualification.
