Project Finance Intern

Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027

Job Description

The role is primarily to support the Shared Resource Team (SRT) within MUFG’s project finance practice which will involve origination, execution and management of financial advisory and limited recourse financing transactions in the power, renewables, oil & gas, natural resources and infrastructure sector.

Work scope will include but not be limited to:

•    Conducting analysis and running financial models to evaluate bankability of projects support credit decision making
•    Research and review of relevant industry information and available due diligence reports
•    Preparing business and credit memos to pursue business opportunities
•    Generating presentation materials, pitchbooks and proposals
•    Preparing credit papers
•    Other ad hoc and administrative functions including KYC checks, client onboarding procedures, data entries into bank systems, etc.

Job Requirements

Skill set:
•    Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Word
•    Good oral and writing skills
•    Ability to work with and eventually assist in building complex financial models
•    Basic accounting and strong finance background
