Translating to ‘my imagination’ in Arabic, KAYALI provides a modern fragrance experience inspired by Mona’s rich Middle Eastern heritage and the art of layering scents to help you create your mood; where sharing scents is a ritual and smelling good is both an act of goodwill and self-love. Summary

We are seeking an experienced techno-functional Product Owner to lead a digital platform with a content-rich website, structured product database, search, community engagement, and administration tools. The role will connect business stakeholders, users, and technology partners to translate business needs into scalable digital solutions. It combines product management, business analysis, platform ownership, data governance, SEO, analytics, vendor management, and hands-on website administration. The role includes strong hands-on responsibility for implementing, managing, maintaining, and continuously updating the website and related digital platform components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership

• Own and manage the product roadmap and backlog.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and functional specifications.
•   Prioritise enhancements and development activities based on business value.
•   Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Define and track product KPIs and success measures.
• Drive continuous platform improvement and innovation

Technology & Delivery Management

• Manage third-party development partners and vendors.
• Participate in solution design discussions and challenge technical proposals where required.
• Review functional and technical documentation.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities with the vendor.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments.
• Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Oversee delivery across the proposed technology stack.
• Support AWS administration activities, including user access, hosting and environment coordination, platform configuration, monitoring, storage, CDN, and cloud-service coordination as required.

Website & Digital Experience

• Manage website enhancements and optimisation initiatives.
• Review user journeys and user-experience improvements.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and accessibility standards are maintained.
• Monitor website performance and engagement metrics.
• Take a hands-on role in implementing, managing, maintaining, and updating the website, including content updates, configuration changes, testing, issue resolution, and coordination of technical improvements.

Data & Content Management

•   Own the platform data model, taxonomy, and governance standards.
• Define and maintain data-quality processes.
• Oversee content enrichment and validation activities.
• Manage structured product data and metadata.
•   Ensure consistency and accuracy across platform content.

Search & Discovery

• Define search and filtering requirements.
• Optimise search relevancy and recommendation capabilities.
• Analyse search behaviour and user trends.
• Work with technical teams to improve search performance.

Community & User Engagement

• Manage user account functionality and engagement features.
• Define moderation and governance processes.
• Support initiatives that increase user adoption and retention.
• Work closely with marketing and community teams on engagement strategies.

SEO/GEO & Analytics

• Own SEO/GEO strategy and optimisation initiatives.
• Monitor organic traffic and search performance.
• Manage analytics and reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve discoverability and engagement.

Identity & Microsoft 365 Administration

• Administer users, groups, and roles within Microsoft Entra ID, including joiner-mover-leaver provisioning and deprovisioning.
•   Manage group-based licensing and role-based access control (RBAC) assignments.
• Support Conditional Access, MFA, and Single Sign-On (SAML/OIDC) configuration for enterprise and platform applications.
•   Manage app registrations and enterprise applications in Entra ID.
• Perform day-to-day administration via the Microsoft 365 admin centre, including Exchange Online mailboxes, shared/distribution mailboxes, and mail-flow requests.
•   Support SharePoint and Teams administration and basic data-governance (Purview) tasks.
• Assist with licence management, optimisation, and access reviews, and monitor sign-in and audit logs for anomalies.

Operational Support

•   Oversee post-release support and enhancement requests.
• Manage issue triage and prioritisation.
•    Support business users and platform administrators.
• Coordinate knowledge-transfer and documentation activities.

Requirements

Essential

·       5+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Technology Delivery, or Digital Platforms.

·       Experience managing external software development partners.

·       Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

·       Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

·       Strong requirements-gathering and documentation skills.

·       Experience with CMS-driven websites and digital platforms.

·       Experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps, and releases.

·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·       Experience with Microsoft Azure administration and cloud platform coordination.

·       Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID and the Microsoft 365 admin centre (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams), including Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO.

·       Working knowledge of identity and access management concepts (least-privilege, RBAC, SSO, MFA).

·       Microsoft certifications such as SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator) or MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator).

·       Shopify and Shopify POS experience is an added advantage.
