About the Team

Product Design sits within the Product organization as a strategic engine for product growth. Working alongside Product Management, you will play a critical role in crafting seamless user experiences, balancing strategic thinking and concept building to align user needs directly with LearnUpon's business objectives. You will collaborate closely with engineering, data, and CX teams from discovery to delivery. Ultimately, your work will shape feature roadmaps, drive the execution of scalable solutions, and continuously evolve our product and design processes.

About the Opportunity

As a product designer reporting to the Product Design Manager, you will work alongside a pool of talented designers from varies seniorities. You will attend different design syncs and workshops to check in work quality, design system evolution and processes improvements. 

In addition, you’ll be responsible for:

• Design and deliver end-to-end UX/UI solutions, ensuring usability, consistency, and accessibility.
• Work closely with product manager, and engineers to define and solve design challenges and ensuring priorities are aligned.
• Use AI-assisted design tools to create prototypes, perform research synthesis, and improve the design-to-development handoff.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
• Help to prioritize features based on user research and data.
• Develop and maintain design system components to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 & 2.2.
• Manage and prioritize multiple design projects while ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Skills & Experience 

Must-Haves                                                                         

• 2-4 years of experience in product design, UI/UX, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Miro, etc).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows (e.g., rapid prototyping, generative exploration, research synthesis) and a willingness to bring them into day-to-day design work.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing to validate design choices.
• Ability to justify design decisions using research insights, business needs, and technical feasibility.
• Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with product managers, engineers, other designers and department stakeholders.
• Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG 2.1 & 2.2) and inclusive design principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, articulating design ideas clearly.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working in a B2B SaaS, learning apps, or platform environment.
• Exposure to AI-driven design, personalization strategies, or analytics tools.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude Code, V0 and Codex.
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for better collaboration with engineers.
• Experience in facilitating workshops and cross-functional design sessions.
