Role description

In this role, the individual is responsible for managing moderately sized projects or processes. The individual shall have Subject Matter level knowledge in the field of EMI/EMC. The problem faced will be difficult and often complex. Responsible for coaching, mentoring and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. This should contribute to development of goals of the respective discipline and planning efforts such as budgets, operational plans etc.

Responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of work area. The individual shall be responsible for communicating within & outside of the discipline at times with parties outside of the organization.

Technical Skills & Responsibilities

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics and communication Engineering / Electrical Engineering with 12-16 Yrs of experience
• Shall be a seasoned professional who can coordinate and facilitate the EMI/EMC qualification testing of airborne electronic hardware and systems in co-ordination with internal & external stake holders
• Extensive experience in performing EMI/EMC qualification testing as per DO-160 and MIL-STD-461
• Strong knowledge about EMI/EMC instruments, antennas and chambers
• Extensive experience in authoring qualification test plan, procedures, & reports
• Provide technical support to product design teams to trouble shoot and improve the designs
• Strong knowledge in analog and digital circuit, power electronics and power supply design
• Strong knowledge in DO-254 Process is an added advantage
• Very good understanding of the PCB layout & fabrication process
• Very good understanding about the Through Hole and SMD board assembly process
• Hands on experience in board bring up
• Very good experience on the hardware design and development lifecycle process
• Hands-on experience in DOORS is preferred
• Very good technical documentation skills & attitude is highly demanded
• Experience in preparing estimates and schedules
• Experience in foreseeing the risks and implementing the mitigation plans
