Physical Therapist (PT) Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist, you will:
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled physical therapy services to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence
- Implement evidence-based rehabilitation interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, treatment plans, and safety techniques
- Document patient progress accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
- Assist residents in achieving their highest practical level of function and quality of life
Qualifications
Required:
- Current and active California Physical Therapist (PT) License
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care
Preferred:
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Post-Acute Care, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, or Geriatric Care
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
