Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language and Literature to students in Grades XI and XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that strengthen reading, writing, speaking, listening, and analytical skills.
- Foster literary appreciation through novels, poetry, drama, debates, presentations, and creative writing activities.
- Conduct classroom assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board examinations through structured revision plans and exam-focused guidance.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment using innovative and technology-enabled teaching methodologies.
- Mentor students in their academic and personal development while providing additional support where needed.
- Organize and encourage participation in literary clubs, debates, elocution, theatre, Model United Nations, and writing competitions.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, assessments, and student progress reports.
- Collaborate with fellow educators on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary projects, school events, and professional development initiatives.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Master's Degree in English from a recognized university along with a B.Ed. qualification.
- 3+ years of teaching experience in CBSE Senior Secondary classes, with strong knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment framework.
- Excellent command of English language, literature, grammar, and communication skills.
