So what does a Payroll Analyst really do?

Think of yourself as someone who will be responsible for supervising the end to end payroll process handled by payroll specialists, so not just anyone is qualified for this role. We make sure we get the best of the best, after all, we are a ridiculously good company so we make sure our employees are top notch. Now we need your full concentration because it’s time to imagine what it’s like being a Payroll Analyst.

Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: that you will manage the workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it comes down to one thing: that you will perform payroll reconciliation when the need arrives.

As a Payroll Analyst,

You will have to understand the entire payroll process from employee hiring, time entry accumulations, leave processing up to payroll generation.

You will also review and ensure accurate and timely year-end reporting Alphalist generation).

You will also review the summary of payroll disputes every pay period and monitor the same up to its resolution.

You also need knowledge in payroll end to end process, have understanding for proper taxation of employer paid benefits, and also the government premium deductions against employees’ salary components.

Lastly, you will participate in local and global projects from time to time.

So, do you have what it takes to become a Payroll Analyst?

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in processing payroll from a computerized system

• A degree in Accountancy or similar 

• Thorough knowledge of payroll best practices

• A strong knowledge of withholding tax on compensation, and government premium deductions

• Experience with Greek Digital Work Card (Ψηφιακή κάρτα Εργασίας)

• Working knowledge and experience in Pylon Software would be a strong plus. 

• Strong knowledge of Google and Microsoft applications

• Can comfortably work on a hybrid setup

• Additionally, strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills, decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills is a must as well.
