The opportunity
We're looking for a Paid Search Specialist to help scale customer acquisition across TechnologyAdvice's growing portfolio of B2B technology brands.
This is much more than a campaign management role.
You'll own the execution and optimization of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns while partnering closely with Business Intelligence, Engineering, Creative, Product, and Marketing teams to improve campaign performance across the entire customer journey. You'll help shape testing strategies, optimize landing page experiences, improve attribution, and leverage AI-powered workflows to continually increase efficiency and performance. The team's work is highly collaborative and centered around continuous experimentation, performance analysis, and iterative optimization.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking with creative problem-solving and thrives in an environment where testing, learning, and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.

What you'll do
- Build, launch, and manage campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, and future campaign types.
- Conduct keyword research, expansion, refinement, and negative keyword management to maximize relevance while minimizing wasted spend.
- Continuously optimize bidding strategies, budgets, targeting, and campaign structure based on performance data.
- Design and execute A/B tests across keywords, audiences, bidding strategies, ad copy, landing pages, and campaign structures.
- Analyze campaign performance to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and higher-quality lead generation.
- Recommend new strategies based on performance trends, industry changes, and platform updates.
- Help improve Quality Scores, ad relevance, and landing page experiences through ongoing optimization.
Who you are
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns.
- Experience across Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, and other modern Google campaign types.
- Strong understanding of keyword strategy, audience targeting, bidding strategies, attribution models, and conversion tracking.
- Experience optimizing toward business outcomes rather than vanity metrics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend actionable improvements.
- Experience using reporting and analytics platforms such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Tableau, Microsoft Clarity, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain campaign performance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for testing new ideas.
- Experience collaborating across Creative, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics, or BI teams.
- Experience using AI tools or automation to improve marketing workflows is highly desirable.
