Credence is actively seeking DevSecOps professionals to join its growing Organization. This role will be required to work on-site at Credence Corporate HQ in Tysons, VA a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Provides expertise to configure and maintain DevOps tools including but not limited to GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, and SonarQube.
- Implements and supports platforms for containerized applications using AWS managed services such as EKS.
- Support in implementing, developing, and utilizing CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.
- Applies advanced technical knowledge for software engineering to support across projects utilizing modern best practices.
- Design, deploy and support automation and scripting solutions to drive new capabilities, visibility, and efficiency on projects.
- Work across teams to gather understand business requirements and provide solutions with deep knowledge of AWS Services.
Requirements
- US Citizenship with possibility to obtain a federal government clearance
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong foundation with Kubernetes
- Experience supporting containerized workloads in AWS
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Basic understanding of networking setup
- Experience with Debugging, troubleshooting, log searching
- Understanding of metrics, monitoring, alarming and dashboarding concept
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and/or distributed systems
- Associate or Professional level AWS certifications
- CompTIA Sec+ Certification
- Experience with US Federal or Department of Defense (DoD) customers
$120,000 - $150,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, education, certifications, skills, and overall qualifications.
