We are looking for a Mid Data Manager - Public Health Data to join our team and contribute to a large-scale public health data and digitalisation initiative.
In this role, you will support data management, data quality, analysis, visualisation, reporting, and governance activities within a modern Public Health IT Infrastructure. You will work closely with data specialists, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that health and surveillance data is accurate, validated, secure, and transformed into meaningful insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in data management, data quality, and data analysis
- Define and monitor data quality processes, standards, and KPIs
- Perform data quality analysis, validation, cleaning, and transformation
- Conduct and support data analysis and visualisation activities
- Extract, analyse, and prepare datasets and reports
- Design and modify interactive reports, dashboards, and Business Intelligence outputs
- Prepare legacy data and scripts to support data migrations and transformations
- Support the definition and implementation of data-related requirements
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making
- Oversee data governance, security policies, and access controls
- Collaborate with data source owners, IT teams, developers, and other stakeholders
- Support testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
- Contribute to technical documentation, progress reports, and data-quality assessments
- Support knowledge transfer and training activities related to data management and analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Data Analysis, Statistics, Epidemiology, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in data management, data quality, data analysis, or a related area
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and/or R
- Experience with data quality assurance, including data quality analysis and validation
- Experience creating and working with interactive reports and dashboards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with complex datasets and translate data into meaningful insights
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills
- English language proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to Have
- Experience working with health, public health, surveillance, or epidemiological data
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
- Experience with data migration and transformation activities
- Experience with data governance, security, and access controls
- Knowledge of GDPR and handling sensitive data
- Experience supporting UAT and system implementation projects
- Experience working with public-sector, healthcare, or international organisations
