We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Microsoft Sales Manager with 6–8 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, and Microsoft technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem and a proven track record of identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
This role requires a combination of business development expertise, Microsoft technology knowledge, consultative selling skills, and strong relationship management. The successful candidate will work closely with technology, consulting, and delivery teams to understand client requirements and position relevant Microsoft-based solutions.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales and business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across enterprise and mid-market customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, IT leaders, technology decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
- Drive the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and closure.
- Leverage knowledge of Microsoft technologies and solutions to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate technology offerings.
- Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline while consistently meeting quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and solution discussions.
- Collaborate with Microsoft technology, pre-sales, consulting, and delivery teams to develop customized proposals and solutions.
- Understand customer business challenges and translate them into technology-driven business solutions.
- Build strategic partnerships and identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling Microsoft-related services.
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging Microsoft technologies to identify new opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, account plans, and business development reports.
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts while ensuring profitable and sustainable business relationships.
- Support account growth by identifying opportunities within existing customers and expanding the overall relationship.
Must-Have Skills
- 6–8 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, technology sales, or a similar role.
- Proven experience as a Business Development Executive, Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or similar position.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies and the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Experience selling Microsoft-based technology solutions, services, consulting, cloud, or digital transformation offerings.
- Strong knowledge of B2B and enterprise sales processes.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, build sales pipelines, and close high-value deals.
- Excellent understanding of consultative and solution-based selling.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to engage with senior business and technology decision-makers.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of revenue, margins, sales targets, and forecasting.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and delivery teams to develop customer-centric solutions.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or related Microsoft solutions.
- Existing enterprise client relationships and a strong professional network.
- Experience managing strategic accounts and large sales opportunities.
- Knowledge of cloud migration, digital transformation, data, AI, or managed services.
- Experience working with Microsoft partners, system integrators, or technology consulting organizations.
- Understanding of CRM platforms and sales automation tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification will be an advantage.
