What You'll Bring:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline (environmental, geotechnical, or similar). Or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of progressive experience in site investigation/remediation projects (7+ years preferred)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead moderate to complex technical/regulatory projects
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Environmental field experience and 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
- Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area
- Commitment to safety and adherence to health and safety protocols
- This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
Preferred:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Indiana or a reciprocity state (or ability to obtain soon)
- Experience with innovative remediation technologies and high-resolution site characterization
- Proven ability to mentor junior staff and collaborate with technical experts
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute site investigation and remediation projects across soil, groundwater, and sediments
- Plan and oversee field activities, including sampling, drilling, monitoring well installation, vapor intrusion assessments, and remedial construction
- Interpret environmental data, develop conceptual site models, and prepare technical reports and work plans
- Evaluate remedial alternatives and support clients in achieving cost-effective regulatory closure strategies
- Design and implement innovative remediation approaches, including bench-scale and pilot testing
- Mentor and guide junior team members while effectively delegating work
- Prepare proposals, deliver technical presentations, and contribute to business development initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes
