The Loyalty and Rewards Director of Program Integrity and Risk Execution serves as the strategic and operational anchor for the Relationship Rewards program’s control environment. This role is accountable for ensuring the integrity, compliance, and effective execution of program controls across design, build, launch, and ongoing operations. Acting as the primary liaison between the Loyalty and Rewards team and Digital, Technology, Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC), and Fair Lending partners, this leader establishes and maintains a robust control framework that enables program delivery while proactively identifying and mitigating risk.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive control framework for the Relationship Rewards program, aligned with enterprise risk, compliance, and Fair Lending standards.
2.    Serve as the primary point of contact between the Loyalty and Rewards team and LRC, Fair Lending, Digital, and Technology partners for control design, execution, and issue management.
3.    Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the program lifecycle, including program design, build, testing, launch, and ongoing execution.
4.    Ensure required controls are embedded directly into program requirements, system builds, operating processes, and servicing workflows, with clear traceability across impacted teams and platforms.
5.    Translate control and compliance requirements into actionable business and technical specifications, partnering with Technology and Digital teams to ensure feasibility and adherence.
6.    Monitor build and enhancement execution to validate that control requirements are implemented as designed and operating effectively.
7.    Lead control validation activities during testing, readiness reviews, and program launches, confirming issues are remediated prior to go‑live.
8.    Establish governance routines and reporting to track control performance, issue status, remediation progress, and overall compliance health.
9.    Coordinate launch readiness and ongoing assessments to ensure operational preparedness, documentation completeness, and sustained control effectiveness.
10.    Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Change Delivery, and Transformation teams to integrate controls into business processes and operating models.
11.    Facilitate control design workshops, reviews, and documentation sessions to ensure shared understanding and consistent execution across stakeholders.
12.    Create an inclusive, engaging, and energizing team environment, aligned with the Truist Purpose, Mission and Values, that empowers teammates to learn, grow, and have meaningful careers.  Execute on managerial responsibilities and strategic priorities with excellence in a timely manner creating a differentiated experience to ensure areas of focus are operationalized throughout the team at all levels.
13.    Attract, retain and promote top talent and build a robust slate of credible successors for key leadership positions and opportunities across Truist.

QUALIFICATIONS


Required Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1.    Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience;
2.    Ten years of experience in risk management, compliance, controls, or operations within financial services;
3.    Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and monitoring controls within a product, program, or platform environment;
4.    Strong understanding of enterprise risk frameworks, compliance standards, and Fair Lending requirements;
5.    Ability to translate control requirements into operational and technical execution across Digital and Technology teams;
6.    Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence both technical and non‑technical stakeholders;
7.    Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products;
8.    Ability to travel, occasionally overnight. 

Preferred Qualifications:
1.    Experience supporting client‑facing banking products, loyalty programs, or digital platforms;
2.    Familiarity with change delivery, technology build processes, and testing/launch validation;
3.    Experience working in a highly matrixed organization with multiple risk and control partners.
