Purpose of the Position 

As Logistic & Distribution Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and continuously improving our logistics and distribution operations in Romania. You will oversee demand planning, inventory management, third-party logistics partnerships, customer support activities, and supply chain performance while leading a small team and collaborating closely with commercial, finance, regulatory, and supply chain colleagues. This is a highly visible role with significant ownership and the opportunity to influence how we serve one of the most important markets within our region.

Main Responsibilities 

• Lead and develop a small logistics team while fostering an inclusive, collaborative work environment. 

• Drive demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, and product availability across the Romanian market. 

• Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders including Sales, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain. 

• Manage relationships and performance of third-party logistics providers, warehouses, and distribution partners. 

• Monitor inventory risks, stock levels, expiry management, and inventory value to support informed business decisions. 

• Analyze logistics and supply chain data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that increase efficiency and service levels. 

• Support customer operations, commercial programs, and distribution activities while ensuring exceptional service and communication. 

• Ensure all activities comply with our policies, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and our commitment to ethical business practices. 

Your Profile 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 

• Experience in logistics, distribution, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related field. 

• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems; SAP experience is a strong advantage. 

• Strong analytical capabilities and confidence working with data and Excel. 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive results in a dynamic environment. 

• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, chemical, medical device, or other regulated industries is welcome.
