We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Junior GL Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for an early‑career accounting professional who is eager to develop their skills, gain hands‑on experience, and contribute to the smooth financial operations of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts processing — Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing and respond to related queries.
• Financial record maintenance — Maintain accurate financial records, reports, and documentation.
• General ledger reconciliation — Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
• Month‑end support — Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Data entry — Ensure accurate data entry and consistent record keeping.
• Finance administration — Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.

About You

Your enthusiasm for accounting, paired with your willingness to learn and grow, will set you up for success in this role. You’ll thrive in an environment where accuracy matters, teamwork is valued, and professional development is encouraged.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Tertiary degrees/qualifications in Accounting and Finance.
• Experience in AR/AP or general ledger accounting is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
• Advanced usage of Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
