Industrial Design Engineer
Global Floorcare, part of TTI, is home to two iconic floorcare brands: Vax and Hoover.

We work on a hybrid basis; this role will be working 4 days onsite and 1 day working from home

Due to the growth of the UK Engineering team we are seeking a creative and hands-on industrial design engineer to transform ideas into desirable, manufacturable products that delight consumers and strengthen our brand. This role focuses on developing concepts and designs across a range of floorcare products working across a number of teams and stakeholders.
The team are highly skilled within Industrial Design, therefore this is an amazing role to develop, grow and hone your skills to the next level
Responsibilities:
Develop compelling product concepts and designs.
Create high-quality CAD models & renders
Drive ergonomic and user experience excellence in designs.
Develop & contribute to CMF and Visual Brand Language
Design & build compelling visual models and UX Prototypes
- Support design research and validation activities
Collaborate with Engineering to deliver A-Surface Intent
Collaborate with Electrical Engineering to integrate new UI / HMI Features into future products.
Communicate design intent to business and key stakeholders
What we need from you:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial, Product or UX Design or Equivalent
Industrial Design Experience ideally in Consumer Product but this is not essential
Excellent CAD, Sketching and Presentation Skills
Proven ability to rapidly produce high quality renders
Experience in Design Research Methodologies (IDEO, Design Thinking, Human Centred Design)
