As an Industrial Construction Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team based in Ottawa, Ontario and reporting to the Specialty Sales Manager.  This field-based role supports a territory in the Greater Ottawa Area.

• Competitive compensation, with an anticipated annual base salary of $50,000-$60,000, based on your experience, skills, qualifications, and market location.

• Performance-based earning potential through a discretionary sales incentive bonus targeted at 15% of your annual salary, based on the achievement of defined objectives and plan terms.  Bonuses are not guaranteed.

What You Will Get To Do

• Act as the main point of contact for the company in the field, providing customer service, product knowledge, and sales expertise to our end users

• Visit a variety of end user job sites and tools cribs in assigned region

• Assist sales team at distribution sales events, developing new contacts, and closing sales

• Build and maintain relationships with end users and internal sales team

• Coordinate and manage of top customer purchasing

• Support our distribution network as it pertains to large user needs

• Develop new business within assigned region

Who You Are

• College or University graduate

• Experience in sales and/or marketing, with a record of demonstrated achievements

• Willingness to travel

• Ability to work some weekends as needed

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities

• Creativity and strategic thinking skills

• Proficiency with computer software including MS Word and Outlook

• Valid driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract
