Pratt & Whitney is working to once again transform the future of flight—designing, building, and servicing engines unlike any the world has ever seen. And because transformation begins from within, we’re seeking the people to drive it.

Immerse yourself in a Monday-Friday Summer Intern session, that will run from June to August (it is expected students will take this time off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).  

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What You Will Do:

• Participate in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budget.
• Monitor progress, identifies and resolves obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules and ensure smooth project operations.
• Gathers data to monitor project progress in terms of cost, schedule, and technical specification to facilitate operations and ensure that established objectives and budgets are achieved.
• Maintains plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure established targets are met.
• Responsible for project assignments with various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.   
• English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.
   

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This position is classified: Hybrid. Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on a regular basis with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.
