As part of this team, you will lead high-impact technical partnerships, drive DSP platform adoption, and pioneer modern, AI-augmented media solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategic Integration: Lead the strategic technical integration and onboarding of major HoldCo agency partners and direct clients, ensuring seamless adoption of Yahoo DSP capabilities, custom data solutions, and measurement frameworks.

• Commercial & Technical Deal Solutioning: Drive commercial solutioning and deal negotiations for strategic clients and agency stakeholders, structuring complex programmatic trading agreements, preferred partnerships, and Private Marketplace (PMP) deals.

• Team & Functional Management: Provide strategic direction and functional leadership for solutions engineering initiatives, establishing operational governance, workflow priorities, and joint business plans aligned with commercial revenue goals.

• AI-Augmented Workflow Optimization: Identify, implement, and leverage AI-driven workflows and internal enterprise AI tools to automate complex deal modeling, evaluate platform adoption diagnostics, and accelerate solution delivery.

• Output Validation & Governance: Evaluate, refine, and validate AI-generated output, including programmatic optimization forecasts and custom technical proposals ensuring brand safety, technical accuracy, and executive presentation standards.

• Executive Relationship Management: Serve as the primary technical executive point of contact for HoldCo agency leadership across trading, technology, investment, and data science teams.

• Roadmap & Cross-Functional Influence: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Legal teams to translate agency partner feedback into prioritized platform features and revenue-generating products.

• Market Thought Leadership: Represent Yahoo on external industry panels and major conferences, championing our technology stack, programmatic innovation, and AI-driven solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical account management, solutions architecture, or sales engineering experience within the digital advertising, DSP, or programmatic AdTech ecosystem.

• 3+ years of experience in a functional or direct leadership role managing complex technical partnerships or strategic account teams (M3 level equivalent).

• Proven track record of structuring and negotiating complex programmatic trading agreements, API integrations, and custom media deals with HoldCo agencies or enterprise advertisers.

• Strong technical fluency in programmatic advertising protocols (OpenRTB, DSP/SSP architectures, identity frameworks, and data clean rooms).

• Demonstrated experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT Enterprise, Copilot) for prompt engineering, workflow automation, and rapid data analysis to accelerate business outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or equivalent practical industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep executive relationships across major HoldCo agency investment, trading, and technology groups.

• Demonstrated mindset of continuous experimentation, proactively introducing AI-driven efficiencies and automation into sales engineering and account integration processes.

• Experience developing professional services frameworks or custom technical consulting revenue streams.

• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to translate complex technical architectures into compelling commercial value propositions for C-suite stakeholders.
