The recently redeveloped RAC Ningaloo Reef Resort sits on the pristine shores of Coral Bay, a gateway to the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Marine Park. Featuring 90 modern units, a resort-style pool, ocean-view dining, a contemporary clubhouse, and sustainable features like solar power and EV charging, it offers an unparalleled coastal experience.

Ahead of our grand reopening in Q1 2027, we’re seeking a talented and experienced full-time Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations and deliver outstanding dining experiences.

What will you be doing?

In this leadership role, you’ll oversee the kitchen team, design seasonal menus, manage budgets, and ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety. You’ll collaborate closely with the Food & Beverage team to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Your day-to-day impact

• Lead and inspire the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene.

• Create innovative seasonal menus in collaboration with the F&B team.

• Manage budgets, cost control, and supplier relationships.

• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes.

• Train, roster, and develop staff to achieve excellence.

• Ensure compliance with WHS and food safety regulations.

• Respond to guest feedback and adapt offerings to enhance satisfaction.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential); additional cookery training desirable.

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or senior kitchen leader in hotels or resorts.

• Strong background in menu development, cost control, and supplier management.

• Experience supervising and developing kitchen teams.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

• Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays.
