Destsetters is looking for an external Video Editor to collaborate on a project basis for Destsetters and its sister companies.

The role focuses on editing existing long-form video content provided by our team and transforming it into polished, structured, and engaging videos, fully aligned with each brand’s visual identity and content guidelines. The selected collaborator will also be responsible for adding branded pop-ups, captions, titles, highlights, and other visual elements according to the provided guidelines, as well as creating short-form video content from the original long-form material.

This is an outsourcing collaboration for a professional video editor with a strong portfolio, proven experience, and the ability to deliver high-quality work independently.

Key Deliverables

• Long-Form Video Editing: Edit long-form videos provided by Destsetters, ensuring professional structure, smooth flow, correct pacing, clean transitions, and high-quality final output.
• Branded Pop-Ups & Visual Elements: Add pop-ups, captions, titles, highlights, callouts, and other visual elements based on the provided templates, brand guidelines, and editing instructions.
• Short-Form Video Creation: Repurpose long-form videos into short-form content for social media, including reels, shorts, teasers, and promotional clips.
• Brand Adaptation: Adjust each video according to the tone, audience, and visual identity of Destsetters.
• Final File Delivery: Export and deliver final video files according to the required formats, dimensions, naming structure, and technical specifications.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio of previous video editing work is required.
• Proven professional experience in video editing, preferably with long-form content, interviews, educational videos, podcasts, webinars, corporate videos, or social media content.
• Excellent knowledge of professional video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software.
• Ability to create engaging short-form videos from longer content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
• Strong understanding of pacing, captions, pop-ups, titles, visual hierarchy, transitions, sound balancing, and basic motion graphics.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines, templates, instructions, and feedback with consistency and precision.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and reliability.
• Experience with hospitality, hotel, business, educational, or premium brand content is considered a plus.
