Financial Institutions Risk Intern
Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027
Job Description:
This position sits within the Financial Institutions Risk team which is part of the International Credit Division. The Financial Institutions Risk is a second line risk unit, that manages the credit risk of the bank’s portfolio across the Banks, Sovereigns, Insurance, Funds, and Diversified Financials client segments. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, and financial modelling, and also partner with various internal stakeholders to drive a key growth pillar for the Bank.
Assist in the preparation and analysis of credit risk reports.
Support the team in conducting credit assessments and due diligence on new and existing clients.
Help in monitoring and evaluating the creditworthiness of clients and counterparties.
Participate in the development and enhancement of credit risk models and tools.
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to special projects and initiatives aimed at improving credit risk management processes.
Job Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Keen eye for detail and proficiency in MS Office (Project, PowerPoint, Excel).
Attention to detail and desire to deliver high-quality outputs.
Ability to work under strict timelines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
“Can-do” attitude and ability to learn new topics quickly.
Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
Be a trusted partner, who can collaborate across regions/ teams to deliver best-in-class results.
Capable of working independently and within teams to drive success for the organization.
