Job Description

About the Role

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company policies and external regulations, primarily supporting Germany within the GSA region.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity.
• Participate in financial analysis and special projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role, preferably within an international company.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP knowledge is a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Polish.
