We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Finance Professional / Chartered Accountant to help build and manage the finance function across a growing group of operating entities and project-specific SPVs. This role combines financial accounting, statutory compliance, treasury, fund flow management, financial modelling, project finance, and transaction support.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across multiple areas of finance and taking ownership in an evolving environment where processes and systems are continuously being built. The role offers significant exposure to founders, investors, lenders, advisors, and business stakeholders while contributing directly to financial decision-making and growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Own accounting, financial reporting, monthly close, MIS, and financial controls across multiple entities and project SPVs.
- Manage statutory and regulatory compliance covering GST, TDS, income tax, ROC/MCA, and Companies Actrequirements.
- Coordinate statutory audits, tax matters, company secretarial activities, and external financial advisors.
- Establish standardised accounting, reporting, compliance, and control processes across group entities.
- Manage fund flows and treasury activities across operating companies and project SPVs.
- Coordinate capex drawdowns, lender disbursements, vendor payments, working capital requirements, and equity infusion schedules.
- Monitor debt covenants, reserve accounts, lender obligations, and project-level financial commitments.
- Manage inter-company transactions and fund flows between entities and SPVs.
- Develop cash-flow forecasts and financial plans aligned with project execution and business requirements.
- Build and maintain financial models for new projects, investments, and business initiatives.
- Support capital structuring, equity structuring, shareholding design, and SPV formation.
- Develop cap table, dilution, and fundraising models.
- Support term sheets, transaction documentation, investor discussions, and lender coordination alongside legal and financial advisors.
- Coordinate investor and lender due diligence and provide required financial information and documentation.
- Support project finance processes, debt financing, and financial closure activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through technology, automation, standardisation, and better reporting systems.
- Work closely with founders, project teams, investors, lenders, NBFCs, advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Take ownership of identifying gaps, resolving financial issues, and strengthening the overall finance function.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong command of GST, TDS, income tax, Companies Act, and statutory compliance.
- Experience managing finance across multiple entities, SPVs, subsidiaries, or complex financial structures.
- Strong accounting, financial reporting, MIS, and financial control skills.
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
- Understanding of treasury, cash-flow management, fund flows, and working capital planning.
- Exposure to financial structuring, project finance, fundraising, debt financing, or transaction support is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and commercial understanding with the ability to evaluate financial implications of business decisions.
- Experience coordinating with auditors, tax advisors, legal professionals, lenders, investors, and other external stakeholders.
- Strong ownership, accountability, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently and take decisions in an environment where processes are still evolving.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities across operating finance, compliance, project finance, and transactions.
- Exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, real estate, NBFCs, or other capital-intensive businesses is an advantage.
- Experience in statutory audit or transaction advisory with a mid-size or large professional services firm is a plus.
- Interest in using technology and automation to make finance processes more efficient and scalable.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with a willingness to learn new areas of finance.
