Our team is growing; therefore, we are looking to hire a skilled Field Sales Representative to join our team in Ljubljana.

The role will cover mostly Slovenian and Croatian market. The working model (hybrid or remote) will depend on the candidate’s location; however, the candidate must be located in Slovenia.

Arrow is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer for Electronic components to join our Field and internal team to help us with our expansion plans in the region. The role is sales and engineering focused and target driven. You will be responsible for securing new business and maintaining an excellent level of customer service to current customers. The individual will be required to plan strategies and develop all key relationships to ensure strong foundation for solution selling. Maintaining and promoting relationships with customer contacts who will be determining design opportunities and dealing with existing business challenges.

Main responsibilities include

• Take ownership of assigned accounts 
• Develop relationships and be able to negotiate at all levels within the customer 
• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities
• Be visible on sight – frequent customer visits 
• Maximize Arrow’s market share
• Maximize overall profitability
• Maximize Arrow design in profile and technical sales
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to grow the business

Commercial

• Pro-actively promote Arrow’s top suppliers, whilst selling across the breadth of Arrow’s line card 
• Prioritize time on the largest growth opportunities within the accounts base 
• Regular meetings with Sales Manager to agree on appropriate actions and execute on these 
• Have a clear understanding of competition activity in the accounts base 
• Have some knowledge about IP&E components.

Demand Creation

• Drive agreed supplier initiatives during regular meetings
• Co-ordinate both supplier support and Arrow FAE support to maximize new design opportunities for Arrow 
• Have a clear record of what development projects each customer has and what stage they are at 

What are we looking for

• University degree in technical field preferred in electronic engineering or an equivalent.
• Proven work experience as Technical Sales or Field Sales/Account Management with technical background.
• Very good communication skills and Customer Relationship Management.
• Negotiation skills, communication skills & presentation skills.
• Autonomous, proactive way of working.
• Fluent in English and Slovenian (written and spoken).
• Driving license
