Job Description
1.ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY MANAGEMENT
- Inspect and operate the domestic wastewater treatment system.
- Inspect and monitor employees’ compliance with chemical safety regulations.
- Conduct training for employees on chemical safety and chemical incident response.
- Manage, inspect, and monitor safety conditions in the chemical warehouse.
- Manage and operate the waste storage area and garbage storage area; instruct employees on waste segregation; hand over waste to contractors.
- Hand over hazardous waste and general waste to authorized contractors.
- Update and prepare chemical safety and environmental documents and records to comply with ISO requirements.
- Conduct workplace environmental monitoring and prepare monitoring reports.
- Conduct environmental impact monitoring of the surrounding environment and prepare environmental protection monitoring reports.
- Prepare and submit reports to the competent authorities (Bac Ninh Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment).
2.OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMEsNT
- connduct first aid training for employees.
- Develop plans and organize occupational health examinations for employees.
- Inspect food safety and hygiene practices and verify compliance with food sample retention procedures; coordinate with the industrial catering service provider.
- Inspect first-aid cabinets and maintain medicine issuance records.
- Prepare and maintain occupational accident records, report workplace accidents, and submit reports to the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
- Update drinking water safety testing and certification records; coordinate with service providers.
- Prepare, maintain, and update occupational health and safety documentation, as well as occupational disease management records, to ensure compliance with ISO requirements.
3.FIRE PREVENTION, FIGHTING AND RESCUE MANAGEMENT
- Developed and maintained documentation for the management of firefighting and rescue equipment and systems.
- Conducted inspections and maintained checklists for firefighting and rescue equipment to ensure operational readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Managed the procurement, repair, maintenance, and servicing of firefighting and rescue equipment.
- Investigated and resolved issues related to fire safety systems and emergency response equipment.
- Planned and prepared training programs, records, and documentation for Fire Prevention, Firefighting, and Rescue Operations.
- Coordinated with external service providers and organized fire safety and rescue training for employees.
- Delivered fire safety induction training for new employees.
- Maintained and monitored training records and competency assessment results related to fire safety and rescue operations.
- Kept up to date with fire safety laws and regulations and managed official fire safety correspondence.
- Coordinated with regulatory authorities during fire safety inspections and audits.
- Prepared and submitted statutory fire safety reports to the Bac Ninh Provincial Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department.
4.UTILITY SYSTEM MANAGEMENT
- Inspect and maintain records/check sheets for all utility machinery and equipment.
- Operate and control utility systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Develop maintenance plans and perform preventive and corrective maintenance for utility systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and operational issues.
5.INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT
- Inspect and maintain records/check sheets for all infrastructure facilities and assets.
- Coordinate and work with VSIP on infrastructure-related matters concerning leased facilities and infrastructure used by MVN.
- Carry out repairs and corrective maintenance for damaged or deteriorated infrastructure facilities.
6.Other duties assigned by Manager
Additional Job Description
An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
Mechanical & Electrical Engineering (M&E)
Electrical Engineering
Electronics Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
Automation Engineering
Environmental Engineering (for Facility & EHS roles)
More than 5 years of experience in a similar position.
