Right now, we are seeking a bright and energised Facilities Administrator located at our Centre for Joint Integration located at Mawson Lakes, SA.
The Facilities Administrator is responsible for delivering efficient and professional front-of-house, workplace, and facilities support services. The role is responsible for coordinating reception, visitor management, workplace operations, and administrative processes, with a strong focus on customer service, site security, and workplace experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate front-of-house and workplace services to ensure tasks are executed professionally, efficiently, and to the required standard.
- Oversee reception, visitor management, and site access processes, providing a welcoming experience for employees, visitors, contractors, and guests.
- Support workplace events, meetings, VIP visits, catering arrangements, and executive activities.
- Monitor and respond to, emails, mail, courier services, and general enquiries in a professional manner.
- Coordinate workplace consumables, stationery, amenities, and contractor services to maintain presentation and operational standards.
- Provide administrative and operational support for facilities, site security, visitor management systems (VMS), and workplace utilisation reporting.
- Assist with contractor coordination, site inductions, access requirements, and compliance with security procedures.
- Support EH&S programs, emergency preparedness activities, and the identification and remediation of workplace safety concerns.
- Effectively use workplace technologies and systems to deliver high-quality customer service and operational support.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Requires a high school, secondary school, or equivalent education.•
- Minimum 2 years of experience in workplace services, facilities support, reception, office administration, or a similar role.
- Experience using visitor management systems (VMS), access control platforms, and workplace administration processes.
- Strong customer service, stakeholder management, organisational, and communication skills.
- Experience delivering business-focused support services in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of contractor management, workplace security, and EH&S processes is desirable.
Must be an Australian citizen and/or eligible to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance as needed. Eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva.
