Sobre esta vaga de Experienced AEM Content & Production Manager Contractor ( Brazil- Remote) na Stack Builders
We’re Stack Builders, a US software consultancy based in New York, Quito, and Madrid. We work together to deliver high-quality, pragmatic software solutions for our international client base, and we’re looking to grow our dedicated, diverse team.
We’re currently seeking an experienced AEM Content & Production Manager to join us and work on one of our client projects.
For this remote contractor role, you’ll work closely with our client’s content, marketing, web, and engineering teams to help deliver a high-quality digital experience through Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
This role combines AEM expertise, content production, project management, and operational leadership. You’ll help guide content authors on AEM best practices, improve the content production process, identify inefficiencies between authoring and engineering, and ensure incoming work is organized, prioritized, and delivered effectively.
The ideal candidate is someone who understands both how content teams work and how technology teams deliver, and can effectively bridge the two.
What You’ll Do
AEM Content Management
- Serve as a trusted resource for AEM authors, guiding content authoring best practices, workflows, and efficient ways of working.
- Proactively review authoring processes and identify opportunities to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency.
- Help establish and promote best practices for managing and publishing content in AEM.
- Partner with content and marketing stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable work.
- Identify recurring authoring challenges and work with engineering to determine appropriate solutions.
- Help ensure content is structured, maintained, and published according to established standards and guidelines.
Content Production & Project Management
- Lead the production and delivery of content-related projects and initiatives across the web team.
- Coordinate projects and priorities with Project Managers and other Project and Delivery stakeholders.
- Manage timelines, dependencies, priorities, and follow-up to ensure work moves forward efficiently.
- Coordinate with content authors, copywriters, designers, developers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders.
- Help move work from intake through planning, execution, review, and release.
- Identify blockers, risks, and dependencies and escalate them when additional support or decisions are required.
- Maintain visibility into project status, upcoming work, priorities, and delivery risks.
Bridging Content & Engineering
- Understand the team’s structure, workflows, and responsibilities and identify gaps between content authoring and engineering.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to processes and collaboration.
- Help translate authoring and content needs into clear requirements for engineering teams.
- Work with developers to investigate issues and determine when a request requires technical support or escalation.
- Improve communication and collaboration between content authors, marketing stakeholders, and engineering.
Content Quality & Site Hygiene
- Help maintain a high standard of content quality, accessibility, and overall site hygiene.
- Monitor and coordinate issues identified through Silktide and other website auditing tools.
- Review Silktide findings and help prioritize and assign remediation work.
- Track outstanding content and website quality issues through resolution.
- Identify recurring issues and help establish processes to prevent them from happening again.
Jira & Work Intake
- Serve as a key point of coordination for incoming work and maintain strong Jira hygiene.
- Manage requests coming from multiple sources, including Silktide, Slack, stakeholders, and other teams.
- Coordinate regular intake reviews to assess, prioritize, and assign incoming requests.
- Ensure tickets contain the appropriate information, ownership, priority, and status.
- Assign work to the appropriate team or individual based on expertise and available capacity.
- Escalate tickets when additional technical knowledge, clarification, or decision-making is required.
- Keep Jira accurately reflecting current priorities, active work, blockers, and upcoming work.
Capacity & Planning
- Help leadership maintain a clear understanding of team capacity and workload.
- Work with the team to understand available capacity, competing priorities, and upcoming commitments.
- Provide visibility into workload and help identify when additional resources or reprioritization may be needed.
- Support planning discussions with clear information about active work, incoming requests, and team availability.
- Help Diya, Nina, and other stakeholders understand current and future team capacity.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- 3+ years of experience in digital content, web production, content operations, project management, or a related environment.
- Strong understanding of AEM content authoring and best practices.
- Experience working directly with AEM authors, content teams, marketing teams, or web teams.
- Experience managing web content production and publishing workflows.
- Experience coordinating projects and work across content, marketing, design, and engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of how content and engineering teams collaborate in an enterprise web environment.
- Strong Jira experience, including ticket management, prioritization, assignment, intake, and reporting.
- Experience managing work from multiple intake channels and coordinating work across different teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing requests.
- Experience identifying inefficiencies and proactively improving processes and workflows.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to understand when an issue can be resolved through content/process changes versus when engineering support or escalation is required.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills for direct communication with clients and international teams.
- Availability to overlap at least 4 hours with US PDT working hours.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Silktide or similar website auditing tools.
- Experience with digital accessibility and website quality audits.
- Experience in digital marketing, content strategy, or web operations.
- Experience with SEO and web content optimization.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud.
- Experience with enterprise AEM Sites implementations.
- Experience supporting large AEM authoring teams.
- Experience with AEM governance, workflows, templates, components, and content models.
- Experience with capacity planning or resource management.
- Experience working with B2B technology websites.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is content-focused first and project-focused second.
You should be comfortable working directly with AEM authors and helping them understand how to do their work better, rather than simply managing a project plan. You should have enough AEM knowledge to understand authoring challenges, identify inefficiencies, and communicate effectively with engineers when technical support is needed.
You’ll also need strong production and project management skills to organize incoming work, keep Jira clean, coordinate priorities, manage dependencies, and provide leadership with a clear view of what the team is working on and how much capacity is available.
This is not primarily a Product Owner or traditional Product Manager role. The strongest candidates will have a combination of:
AEM + Content Authoring + Digital Marketing/Web Production + Project Management + Jira + Stakeholder Management
