We are currently looking for an Environmental and Safety Management Systems ISO Coordinator. This position reports to the Vice President of EHS and Facilities.
The primary responsibility of this position is to lead and coordinate the ISO 14001 and 45001 Management Systems with a focus on ultimately achieving OSHA Voluntary Protection Program certification in order to protect our team and the environment. The ISO Coordinator will manage and continuously improve the EHS Management Systems to add value to our team and business.
Responsibilities:
Lead Illuminate USA’s Environmental and Safety Management Systems with a focus on ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications as well as OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program.
Establish relevant policies and procedures for the management systems in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Establish and lead the internal auditing program including developing and training an internal auditing team.
Track and rectify opportunities for improvement and best practices identified during audits.
Proactively participate in the development and tracking of EHS Key Performance Indicators for the facility.
Help establish and grow the company’s safety culture and business through EHS management system implementation.
Ensure day-to-day compliance with EHS policies and regulations while focusing on continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Health and Safety, or similar along with 3-5 years of relevant work experience or 5+ years of relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.
1-3 years of exposure to ISO Management Systems preferred.
Possess a high level of attention to detail and organization.
Ability to communicate within all levels of the organization and with all internal and external stakeholders.
Maintains a positive attitude and displays proactive habits.
Servant leadership skills to help our team succeed.
