To support our mission, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Education Coordinator to contribute to the effective coordination and delivery of ActionAid Hellas’ education programmes and projects.
The Education Coordinator will coordinate project activities, monitor progress and deliverables, support reporting and data management, and collaborate with schools, educators, partners and other stakeholders, ensuring high-quality implementation and alignment with ActionAid Hellas’ principles and priorities
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the implementation of educational programmes and projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Monitor project progress against objectives, indicators, milestones and expected results.
- Support the preparation of reports, project deliverables and documentation of results.
- Coordinate educational activities, workshops, events and outreach actions.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, donor obligations and ActionAid’s accountability standards.
- Build and maintain effective collaboration with schools, educators, academic institutions, civil society organisations, public authorities and project partners.
- Collect, organise and manage programme data, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Support the management and continuous improvement of digital educational platforms and learning systems.
- Contribute to project visibility, communication activities and dissemination of results.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective project implementation.
- Act as an ActionAid Ambassador.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Project Management or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in programme or project coordination, preferably within the education, NGO or social impact sector.
- Experience in project monitoring, reporting, preparation of deliverables and documentation of results.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities, priorities and deadlines.
- Good understanding of human rights education, active citizenship, gender equality, inclusion, diversity and climate justice.
- Excellent use (both oral & written) of the Greek and the English language and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in workshop facilitation, educational programme implementation and familiarity with the Greek education system will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of project cycle management and experience with EU-funded projects will be considered an asset.
- Advanced in digital tools, learning platforms and data management systems.
- Availability to travel domestic and abroad.
