Overview:

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as an Echocardiographer.

Position Status:

Full Time, Days

8 or 10 hours shifts available, start time varies. On Call hours required.

Position Location:

Virginia Beach, VA

Hourly Range: $32.13-$53

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits.

Overview

Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound.  Echocardiographer will work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and will also work with patients at the bedside.

Education

• High School Grad or Equivalent (required)
• Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (or equivalent education) in accordance with IAC Guidelines (required)

Certification/Licensure

• Adult echocardiography registry (RCCS or RCS or RDCS) required within 12 months of hire.
• BLS (Required within 90 days)

Experience

• Echocardiographer experience highly preferred, new grads welcome
