Job Description

Are you interested in a demand planning manager role supporting the
LEGO Group with its forecasting and facilitation of a leading S&OP
processes?

This role reports to the Central European Supply Chain Organisation and works in collaboration with the broader global business units.

During this exciting phase of growth and transformation, your work will directly support integral supply chain decisions.

Your technical mastery of demand planning makes you a trusted partner to
the Operational and Commercial Teams. You will own the role within the S&OP
processes, providing valuable insight and analysis to support gap closing
initiatives. The accuracy of your forecasts has a direct impact on supply chain
efficiency and product availability

Core Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and prepare Demand Planning review meetings with Marketing, Customer Development, and Sales teams, including monthly Demand Review meetings.

  • Act as the guardian of S&OP leadership behaviours.

  • Ensure forecasting assumptions are clearly understood and tracked.

  • Maintain productive working relationships with cross-functional team members, including BU Leadership and global/regional demand planning communities.

  • Deliver an accurate demand plan based on assumptions and fact-based forecast outputs.

  • Develop forecasts using insights from teams and statistical models, driving benchmark and topline analysis.

  • Accurately forecast Consumer Sales and Shipments to Customers.

  • Monitor BU performance and initiate corrective actions based on findings.

  • Ensure demand plans reflect marketing, product launch timings, and promotional activities accurately.

  • Align Demand Planning processes in the BU with global standard processes.

Do You Have What It Takes?

  • Considerable experience working in a consumer goods environment, ideally as a demand or supply planner.

  • Strong business sense, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Stakeholder management skills and ability to master complexity.

  • Communicate complex ideas simply.

  • Experience with automated tools and dashboards (PowerBI, Microsoft Excel, Power Query, VBA).

  • Assimilate multiple data inputs to determine likely outcomes.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrable influencing skills.

  • Balance local priorities with functional targets.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, ability to identify and root-cause issues, delivering insights and fact-based recommendations.

  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented.

  • Preferential experience in supply chain and commercial environments.

  • Previous demand or supply planning experience is preferred.

  • Experience working with people across multiple functions.

  • Experience in a matrix organization is desirable.
