The Role

We're looking for an experienced people leader to join our Operations team and lead our Delivery & Installation (D&I) network while driving commercial growth through our B&C Grade appliance sales channel.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a critical final-mile operation, shape the future of our in-house delivery service, and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and business performance.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager - Operations, you'll be responsible for leading our Delivery & Installation function across New Zealand, ensuring the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of products into customers' homes.

You'll also oversee our highly successful B&C Grade appliance sales channel, including Trade Me and internal sales, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve performance and unlock future growth.

This role combines operational leadership, commercial acumen, continuous improvement, and people leadership, making it ideal for someone who enjoys driving results while developing high-performing teams.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and optimise Fisher & Paykel's in-house Delivery & Installation network, ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused final-mile delivery performance across New Zealand.

• Drive operational excellence through performance management, continuous improvement initiatives, service enhancement and cost optimisation, while monitoring key metrics.

• Own the commercial performance of the D&I and B&C Grade operations, including budgeting, reporting, financial analysis and identifying opportunities for revenue growth and efficiency gains.

• Oversee the B&C Grade appliance sales channel while identifying opportunities to streamline processes, scale operations and improve customer experience.

• Build, coach and develop a high-performing team culture by leading recruitment, performance management, capability development and creating pathways for employee growth.

About You

We're open to candidates from a variety of operational leadership backgrounds including transport, logistics, and related industries.

You will bring:

• Proven leadership experience within an operational or logistics environment.

• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budget management and performance analysis.

• Experience driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

• Strong analytical capability and confidence working with data to support decision-making.

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

• Experience presenting recommendations and performance insights to senior management.

• A customer-first mindset and a passion for operational excellence.
