Data Fabric Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Fabric Data Engineer who can join immediately to our Data and Analytics department. The role involves leveraging advanced technologies and best practices in data management, data modeling, and cloud-based services to build, optimize, and maintain robust data solutions. Candidates will have the opportunity to innovate and contribute to transforming data ecosystems, ensuring seamless integration and high performance across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data fabric solutions leveraging Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and modern cloud technologies.
• Build and optimize scalable data pipelines using Pyspark, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop robust data models and maintain data storage solutions using Azure SQL and Parquet.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance while managing data governance initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and establish robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize data environments for performance and reliability.
• Support Agile development methodologies to streamline workflows and adapt to business requirements.

Key Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric, Pyspark, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud technologies and data management practices.
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling and Parquet file formats.
• Familiarity with CI/CD implementation and SQL scripting.
• 4 - 7 years of relevant experience in data engineering or similar roles.

Preferred Qualification

• Practical experience in Microsoft Fabric (OneLake / pipelines / lakehouse)
• Strong ADF, Databricks, and PySpark background
• Data engineering and transformation expertise
• Ability to design and implement scalable solutions
• End-to-end delivery experience
